The pump used will largely depend on the intended purpose of the water extracted from your borehole. When domestic water well drilling is concerned the bore is often drilled and finished to a smaller diameter with the water borehole lining being 150mm in diameter.
Water borehole installation depths are usually around 40 to 100 metres and even up to 200m. The finished water borehole is terminated in a pumping chamber, or above ground in suitable cabinets.
